Educação, gênero e sexualidade: algumas reflexões sobre o Programa Escola sem Partido

This paper examines the Escola sem Partido Program aiming to identify what conceptions of gender
and sexuality permeate the Program. In this sense, a documentary analysis of the law projects that
institute the Program and are currently in transit at the Brazilian National Congress is developed.
In the defense of the precedence of family values in relation to formal education, It was perceived
the concern of the legislator, particularly, with the maintenance of heterosexuality as the "natural"
expression of human sexuality and the agreement between gender and biological sex.
