Halal Edu-Tourism: A Vacation to Learn

In recent years there are many counties try to promoting Halal tourism as part of tourism product. This is mean to targeting the Muslim market traveler and tourist where, tourism product also can be in many forms of way, such as Islamic fashion, shopping, halal food, medical as well as education tourism or edu-tourism. Islamic tourism attracts many travelers which interested in experience the Islamic culture. Even though, many halal tourism products, but there are still a limited number of the halal edu-tourism product being offered. The aim of this paper is critically to discuss the edu-tourism concept and how higher institution can be as learning center in halal edu tourism. This study is using the in depth interview with local higher institution. Thus, this study will help in contribute the halal tourism in various tourism products and will also encourage the Malaysia economic performance.
