Production method of toothed wheel

2007
The invention relates to a production method for producing pinion steel. The steel comprises the following components (weight percentage): 0.10 to 0.35 percent of carbon by weight, 0.15 to 0.45 percent of silicon by weight, 0.60 to 1.50 percent of manganese by weight, less than and equal to 0.03 percent of phosphorus by weight, less than and equal to 0.045 percent of sulfur by weight, 0.80 to 1.50 percent of chromium by weight, 0.03 to 0.12 percent of titanium by weight, 0.01 to 0.10 percent of aluminum by weight, 0 to 0.30 percent of nickel by weight, 0 to 0.20 percent of molybdenum by weight, 0 to 0.20 percent of copper by weight, 0.004 to 0.015 percent of nitrogen and iron in balancing amount. The production method is characterized in that the technological process of the method comprises: primary-melting in a converter; ladle-refining in a refining furnace or a vacuum degassing furnace; continuous-casting; and continuous-rolling. By replacing the electric furnace with the converter in the pinion steel production, the method has the advantages of short production period, low energy consumption and less environmental pollution, and can meet the pinion steel users' requirements of large scale and high quality.
