Based on a Novel Sodium Alginate-Gelatin Composite Biological Scaffold Printing Technology

2020
Scaffolds play an important role as cell transfer materials and growth sites. The scaffold required for implantation into the human body should meet the following conditions: appropriate porosity, good biocompatibility, certain degradation rate, controllable internal structure, precise size of the scaffold, and higher requirements for the scaffold material and printing process. In this paper, the preparation method of a kind of sodium alginate-gelatin composite material suitable for printing was studied firstly: the viscosity characteristics of sodium alginate-gelatin composite material were analyzed, and the optimal ratio of the gelatin - sodium alginate-gelatin composite material was determined according to the viscosity and mechanical properties. Then, by simplifying the conical needle model and taking slip effect into account, the mathematical model of the composite gel extrusion process was constructed, so as to analyze the influence parameters of the printing target parameters such as flow rate, line width and porosity, and carry out finite element simulation analysis on the printing process, so as to obtain a group of optimal printing parameters.
