Ophthalmology in the European Union at the Beginning of the 21st Century and its Opening towards Eastern Europe

SUMMARY n The present situation of the European Union in University clinics, hospitals and practises is described. The expected changes which will result from the entry of central European countries into the European Union are pointed out.
