PHASE COMPOSITION AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF WROUGHT ALUMINUM ALLOYS OF THE SYSTEM Al - Cu - Mg - Ag - Xi

The phase composition and mechanical properties are studied for artificially aged extruded strips with an unrecrystallized structure of alloys of the system Al-Cu-Mg-Ag, differing in Cu/Mg ratio and a set of additional alloying elements. A scheme is proposed for changing the phase composition of strengthening precipitates with variation of alloy chemical composition.
