The characteristics of temperature and precipitation in southeast of Qilianshan Mountain

The purpose of this research is to analyse climatic characteristics of Wushaoling region between 1951 and 2000,by utilizing the meteorological data of Wushaoling,Wuwei and Lanzhou,which are respectively located in north and south of Wushangling slopes.The results showed the annual average temperatures of Wuwei,Wushaoling and Lanzhou respectively increased by 0.19℃/10a,0.14℃/10a and 0.36℃/10a,Whereas the annual average temperatures in three stations decreased in 1960s.The annual average lowest temperature increased more than annual average temperature and annual average highest temperature in each station.For the surface temperatures,Wuwei and Lanzhou meteorological stations did not increase obviously,but was dramatically warming at rate 0.57℃/10a in Wushaoling since 1978 recorded.Precipitation changes in the three stations demonstrated nearly unchangeable trends,only slightly increase in wuwei during the past 50 years.However,the annual changes in each station were complex.This region are very sensitive to climate change,due to its vulnerable ecology but carring large agricultural population.
