RTL design of FM0 and miller encoding architecture for RFID UHF tag transmitter

2017
RFID UHF tag transponder require encoding techniques for communication which include FM0, Miller, PIE encoding. Using both FM0 and Miller encoding, backscattering link frequency to reader can be varied from 40–640kHz and provide more flexibility between noise and data rate tradeoff. This paper present RTL design based on finite state machine of Miller and FM0 encoding and integrated with transmitter module to comply with ISO 18000–6C reverse link spesification. The design focusing for integration with other module and was synthesized with efficient logic element used.
