Deepening the learning device redox materials used in the implementation
of learning in Balai Diklat Keagamaan Semarang has not been able to give the
participants an understanding of the overall training. Only a cognitive
understanding. Deepening the learning material should not only master the redox
cognitive aspects but also to master life skills by UNESCO formulated in the form
of the four pillars of education. Law Teacher of Teachers and Lecturers demanded
professionalism to carry out the task and duty to plan, implement and assess
learning and evaluate the learning outcomes that we need a way for teachers to
implement learning fun. In addition, during this study are in accordance with basic
principles of chemistry is understanding the concept of learning by providing a
direct experience of process and product of science into ruled out, so activity
training participants in the learning has not been optimal. Based on the
identification of the problem is then formulated the problem of learning how the
process of deepening the development of devices based on the four pillars of
redox materials education through lesson study, learning whether the device has
been developed to meet the criteria valid, practical, and effective. This study aims
to develop the depth of learning materials based redox four pillars of education
through lesson study to determine validity, practicality and effectiveness. The
benefits of this research is the availability of the redox-based learning materials
deepening of the four pillars of education. Lecturer to know the implementation of
lesson study to improve the skills of the lecturer in learning development.
Availability of learning tools that can improve response training participants and
activity training participants. Learning device was developed by Plomp model.
The study was conducted at Balai Diklat Keagamaan Semarang with research
subjects chemistry teacher training participants tiered advanced level class 1 and 2
in 2011. Instrument and data collection techniques used were the checklist
method, observation, questionnaires, and test methods. Data analysis was
performed to determine validity, practicality and effectiveness is to calculate the
data on the validity of the teaching, learning can happen, response training
participants, participant training activities and learning outcomes data. The results
showed that the redox-based learning materials deepening of the four pillars of
education through lesson study to the syllabus, lesson plans and teaching materials
show valid criteria. Criteria are also obtained because of the practicality of
learning can happen showed a mean value of 4.00 both criteria. Based on the
analysis of test results to learn thoroughness, found the fact that 83.33% of
students complete responses and increased training participants and training
activities so that participants can be said that the effectiveness of the learning
device are met.
