The invention discloses a code element delimiting method and device for parallel data. The method includes the following steps: cutting and splicing the non-delimited parallel data to obtain a group of non-delimited parallel data flows with the same width; performing delimiter detection to the non-delimited parallel data flow of each path; confirming the success of delimitation when a frame header delimiter is detected at a preset position of one path of the non-delimited parallel data flow, and obtaining a delimitation channel number of the channel where the detected frame header delimiter locates, wherein one path of non-delimited parallel data flow passes by each channel; and converting the non-delimited parallel data flow into the delimited parallel data as per the delimitation channel number, wherein the delimited parallel data is wider than the frame header delimiter in integral multiples. According to the invention, the code element delimitation in parallel data from the code element to a container with different widths can be realized, and the effect of code element flows confirmed when exiting the bit boundary is recovered.
