Absorbency of Eichhornia crassipes, Salvinia natans and Alternanthrra philoxeroides to nitrogen and phosphorus in polluted water.

2012
This paper studied the growth properties of Eichhornia crassipes Solms,Salvinia natans(L.) All and Alternanthrra philoxeroides in the polluted water, and analyzed their absorbency to nitrogen and phosphorus. The results showed that Eichhornia crassipes grew better in the polluted water, and it had the maximum biomass per unit area and the strongest absorption ability to nitrogen and phosphorus;Eichhornia crassipes was followed by Salvinia natans and Alternanthrra philoxeroides.
