The invention provides a lower air-out type packaged air conditioner which comprises an outdoor machine (100) and an indoor machine (200), wherein the indoor machine (200) comprises a throttle mechanism, an indoor heat exchanger (207) and a compressor (209), which are connected sequentially; the outdoor machine (100) comprises an outdoor heat exchanger (106); an inlet and an outlet of the outdoor heat exchanger (106) are respectively connected with an exhaust pipe of the compressor (209) and an inlet of the throttle mechanism; an air inlet of the indoor machine (200) is arranged at the top and an air outlet of the indoor machine (200) is arranged at the lower part of one side; and the compressor (209) is arranged in an air flue at the side of the air outlet of the indoor machine (200). The lower air-out type packaged air conditioner provided by the invention is better for the ventilation so that the indoor temperature distribution is more even. Furthermore, the compressor is arranged in the air flue at the side of the air outlet of the indoor machine so that the work environment of the compressor can be improved and the high-temperature refrigeration effect is enhanced.
