Mixed Myiasis of Lucilia Illustris and Paralucilia Wheeleri (Diptera: Calliphoridae) in a Raccoon from Northwestern California, USA

A mixed infection of 2 blow flies, Lucilia illustris and Paralucilia wheeleri , was observed on an adult male Raccoon ( Procyon lotor ) on the north coast of California. This is the first known report for P. wheeleri in Humboldt County, California, and the first known report for either blow fly on a Raccoon.
