The invention discloses a determination method of the spontaneous combustion oxidation state of working face goaf superficial part float coal. The method comprises the steps that: tail-tunnel gas is collected and analyzed; and the spontaneous combustion oxidation state of the working face goaf superficial part float coal is determined according to the content changes of the tail-tunnel gas. The working face goaf superficial part float coal spontaneous combustion oxidation state determination method provided by the invention is advantaged in that: no detection point is needed to be arranged at a coal seam working face goaf, such that manpower and material resources can be greatly saved, and the method is economical and reliable. With the method, continuous forecasting of working face goaf float coal spontaneous combustion danger can be realized. The working face goaf superficial part float coal spontaneous combustion oxidation state determination method provided by the invention is convenient and fast, and has good safety. Detection point arrangement during tail-tunnel gas collection is simple. The detection points are places that can be normally accessed by working face staffs, such that the safety is ensured, and the sampling is convenient.
