The utility model discloses a bird prevention splinter which comprises a connecting body connected with a line cross arm into a whole. Two crossed V-shaped spines are arranged above the connecting body, which take the shape of a convex arc, so that birds can not stand stably on the spines. A hollow groove is formed in the crossing position of the spines. The bird prevention splinter further comprises an inserting body with an insertion slot. The insertion slot corresponds to the connecting body in shape. In order to conveniently fix the bird prevention splinter onto the line cross arm by using a binding tape, two mounting holes with a distance of 20 to 30 mm between the centers are formed on the connecting body. The curvature radius of each spine is 130 to 140 mm; the width between the top ends of the two spines is 35 to 45 mm. Parts for the bird prevention splinter can be manufactured in advance and mounted on the site by the binding tape or glue, thereby causing convenient operation. the bird prevention splinter can be made of hard polyvinyl chloride materials the bird prevention splinter is fearless of wind, so that the utility model has the advantages of resistibility of wind and rain, corrosion resistance, high security, prevention of line short, simple structure, low cost and convenient manufacture.
