The Xbox Series X System Architecture

The Xbox Series X console, released in November 2020, contains a System on Chip (SoC) created in partnership with AMD. This article describes its architecture including the intelligence for input processing, rendering game graphics and audio, managing storage, user services, and security, all under a tiered operating system.
