Predictors of mortality in childhood neurotuberculosis: a retrospective study of 84 cases

In our institute neurotuberculosis now forms (0.6%) of an average of 2000 total admission per year. Our mortality rate was 38%. Young age pateints who present themselves late and delay in the initiation of anti-tuberculous therapy correlated significantly with poor outcome
