Surface Dissipation Effects in Tokamak Poloidal Divertor Plasmas: Pfirsch - Schlüter Currents and Space Potential Distribution

1994
A simple model to describe the influence of surface dissipation (i. e. the end losses) on SOL plasma potential in poloidal divertor tokamak is presented. The model takes into account the topology of divertor configurations and basic characteristics of magnetic lines near separatrix.
