SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE TRANSPORT OF CHILDREN FROM AND TO SCHOOLS FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION

Specifications are presented for the safe transport of disabled children going to and from school. In particular, the interior of the vehicle (bus, minivan) is studied with regard to the anchorage of safety belts, anchorage for wheelchairs, location of the seats, comfort, the use of elevators and platforms.
