Determination of the Fresnel Indicatrix of the Monoclinic NaVO3 Crystal in the Visible and Near Infrared Spectral Range

The classical prism method is used to determine the parameters of the Fresnel indicatrix of monoclinic NaVO2, single crystal at room temperature in the photon energy range 0.5 to 3.0 eV. The indicatrix is found to rotate slightly around the b-axis. Oscillator parameters describing the dispersion of the principal refractive indices are given. Die Parameter der Fresnel-Indikatrix von monoklinen NaVO2-Einkristallen werden bei Zimmer-temperatur im Spektralbereich 0,5 bis 3,O eV durch die klassische Prismenmethode bestimmt. Die Indikatrix ist geringfugig um die b-Achse gedreht. Die Oszilatorparameter, die den Spektral- verlauf der Hauptbrechungsindizes beschreiben, werden angegeben.
