The Investigation and Analysis of Vibrio Parahaemolyticus Food Poisoning

14 people among 320 guests who participated in the Zhang 's birthday party in a five-star hotel were food poisoned on August 23,2009,the incidence is 4.38%.relevant technical officers which were organized by the Chongqing CDC quickly rushed to the scene for all 14 cases of on-site epidemiological investigations.41 rectal swab samples,29 pieces of the remaining food,two environmental samples were detected 9 of the same type of bacteria Vibrio parahaemolyticus were found in 72 samples In accordance with GB/T4789-2008,The detection rate is 12.5%.This food poisoning was caused by the Vibrio parahaemolyticus according to the epidemiological investigation,laboratory test results and the clinical symptoms.
