Design and Function of the UHV DC Test line Section (Kunming)

The UHV DC test line section,as an important part of National Engineering Laboratory for UHV Engineering Technology(Kunming),is necessary to implement research on electromagnetic environment and ecological effect of UHV DC transmission lines.Under comprehensive considerations of its economy,practicality and ability for research,the UHV DC test line section is established with reference to the Yunguang UHVDC project,and has the characteristics of flexibly adjusting parameters such as lead type,suspension mode,pole distance and distance to ground,etc.This paper introduces in detail the construction scheme,the design conception and the technical characteristics of the UHV DC test line section,and gives a list of research items to be conducted with the UHV DC test line section.
