The method includes prestoring a disturbance avoiding message source list in an intelligent terminal; if a preset application program is on the way of running during message pushing in the intelligent terminal, judging whether a message source pushing a message exists in the disturbance avoiding message source list or not; if yes, filtering the message which is pushed in the intelligent terminal. In addition, the invention further discloses an application program disturbance avoiding device. By the application program disturbance avoiding method and device, more smoothness in the process when a user uses an application program of the intelligent terminal can be realized, and the user can be avoided being interrupted or disturbed by suddenly-arriving and unimportant messages in the process of using the application program.
