A filosofia na perspectiva da obra de Theodor Adorno: Experiência e conceito na Dialética Negativa

2014
This paper is a reviews the understanding of philosophy from the perspective of Theodor Adorno. Adorno underlines theory’s dimension as social critique in philosophical categories, and argues that theory of knowledge and theory of society are always intertwined. Theory is part of a social process and, at the same time, it is its reflection. Philosophy must keep the dialectical tension between thought and reality, enabling its permanent reinvention, stimulated by its other, that is its dissimilar. Philosophy proposes a rationality that should not lead to an abstract identity, but recognize the dialectical relation between subject-object, in which the subject does not subordinate the object, but surrenders to its nature, saving its own difference, as a mutual recognition of mediation.
