The fuel assembly includes a storage unit configured to store a porous nuclear fuel having a volatile fission products. Fluid control subassembly is connected to the storage unit is configured to control the process of removing at least a portion of a porous nuclear fuel assembly volatile fission products. Further, the fluid control subassembly, in order to remove the heat generated by the nuclear fuel assemblies, allows the circulating fluid for heat removal via the porous nuclear fuel assembly.
