The substrate comprises a base substrate (101), a metal black matrix (111) arranged on said base substrate (101), and anti-reflective patterns (112A, 112B) used for reducing the light reflectivity of said metal black matrix (111); the anti-reflective patterns (112A, 112B) are arranged on the metal black matrix (111) on the side close to the light-emitting side. The described anti-reflective patterns (112A, 112B) reduce the reflection by the metal black matrix (111) of ambient light from the external environment, thereby raising the display contrast ratio of a display device containing the substrate and thus improving picture quality.
