Coherent UDWDM Transceivers Based on Adaptive Stokes Space Polarization Demultiplexing in Real-Time

We experimentally demonstrate for the first-time a dual-polarization coherent UDWDM system supported by adaptive Stokes space polarization-demultiplexing implemented in real-time. Transceiver performance in terms of complexity and sensitivity is evaluated while the system supports optical power budget in excess of 38dB.
