Application of the Procedure

In this, the final chapter, I take a number of examples of apparently argumentative texts and analyse then following the procedure I have described above. These cases have been chosen in order to illustrate how the procedure can be practically applied, and are not, therefore, being presented as, in any sense, a random sample of such texts.
