Influence of draw bead on sheet metal drawing

The influence mechanism and the effect of draw bead on sheet metal drawing was analyzed and the basic principle of setting draw bead was putting forward.At last,the factors to be taken into account in designing the geometric parameters was elaborated.Combined with the automobile fender forming process,using finite element analysis software Dynaform to simulate the fender forming process with non-draw bead,whole circle draw bead and local draw bead.The result shows that reasonable draw bead parameters and layout can effectively solve the problem of wrinkling and rupture,in this way improving the quality of sheet metal drawing.
