Resultados de la cirugía de los hemangiomas cavernosos de la órbita

A study has been undertaken of the results in the treatment of cavernous hemangioma of the orbit over the last 16 years at the Hospital "La Fe" in Valencia. Of the 18 hemangiomas studied, 10 were intraconics and 8 extraconics. Sintomatically, slowly but progressively exoftalmos predominates. Radiology methods (specially ecography and CT) used in the diagnosis are fully reviewed and also the operating techniques employed, overcoat Wright lateral orbitotomy.
