The clinical significance of electrocardiogram changes after thrombolysis in the patients with acute ST segment elevation myocardial infarction

2008
Objective To evaluate the predictive value of segment changes to heart function in the patients with acute ST segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI).Methods 105 patients with acute STEMI underwent thrombolysis therapy and the summary of ST segment decline were calculated after thrombolysis. Results In patients whose ST segment decline were 50% more than pretherapy, the symptoms disappeared and the function were reserved, while patients whose ST segment decline were 50% less than pretherapy, the heart function decreased. Conclusion The decline degree of ST segment can be used as an indirect index to evaluate myocardial refusion and predict the heart function.
