Effect of Postural Chain Mobility on Body Balance and Motor Performance

2018
Abstract Although the analysis of motor performance in human beings generally refers to the ability of performing focal movements, it has been shown that postural adjustments occurring before, during, and after voluntary movements are also instrumental to preserve postural equilibrium. The aim of this literature review was to specify the role of postural chain mobility in body balance, postural adjustments, and motor performance.
