Additional Functionalities to SOAP, WSDL and UDDI for a Better Web Services' Administration

2006
The Web services' standards have some limits: UDDI registries provide a simple classification of Web services by sectors and don't use practically the Meta data describing their usage and WSDL doesn't provide any Web services topologies' description. Since these limits can influence Web services research's results' quality, this work aims to remedy these limits in order to propose an approach that permit an optimised classification, a pertinent research and a better administration of Web services. For that, we added some informations to SOAP, WSDL et UDDI in order to ensure the Web services invocations' traceability, to deduce the Meta data relative to Web services' usage, to enrich the Web services' description with intensional data describing Web services' topologies and to generate Web services' cognitive "maps".
