관상용 수경재배에서 활성탄 비율에 따른 스킨답서스의 생육반응

2013
This experiment was conducted to find out the effects of activated carbon ratios on the change in solution and growth response in ornamental hydro-culture. Epipremnum aureum were grown in four treatments, control(water 100%), W4C1(water 80%+activated carbon 20%), W3C2(water 60%+activated carbon 40%), and W2C3(water 40%+activated carbon 60%) for 6 months. The range of change in water level was the highest in control, and the lowest in W2C3. The solution pH was the lowest in control, and solution EC was the highest in W2C3. Plant height was noted in 25.74cm of W3C2, 24.98cm of W4C1, 22.10cm of control, and 21.53cm of W2C3, respectively, although it was not significantly different among treatments. However, as the treating activated carbon ratios increased, root length was shortened. Fresh weight of top and root were better in W3C2 of activated carbon 40%, but dry weight of top and root were higher in W4C1 of activated carbon 20% than the other treatment. Photosynthetic rate on the Epipremnum aureum grown hydro-culture solution was not observed statistical significant difference among treatments. The number of leaves were the highest in W4C1(water 80%+activated carbon 20%), and fallen leaves were the lowest in control(water 100%). Therefore, overall, it is recommended that the treating activated carbon ratios increased, growth response was better, but, W2C3 treatment have inhibited growth of Epipremnum aureum. The results obtained the suggest that the W4C1 of activated carbon 20% treatment is used to improve water level, pH, EC of hydro-culture solution and growth of Epipremnum aureum.
