The invention belongs to the technical field of radars, and discloses a staring imaging method of a uniform area array emitting radar based on tensor compression perception. The method includes the following steps: constructing a signal receiving model of a radar receiving array, decomposing a uniform area array emitting steering vector into a transverse part and a longitudinal part, extracting receiving data of a single range gate, for the signal receiving module, conducting second-order tensor vectorization treatment so as to convert a one-dimensional signal module to a two-dimensional signal module, converting the signal receiving module of the single range gate to the solution of sparse optimization, using the two-dimensional compression perception algorithm to perform fast imaging on the sparse optimization, separately reconstructing object scenarios within the single range gate so as to obtain images of the object scenarios of a plurality of range gates. According to the invention, the technical solution introduces the tensor compression perception algorithm to the signal module and reconstructs the object scenarios so as to reduce algorithm complexity and reduce image reconstructing time.
