A case of retroperitoneal fibrosis secondary to inflammatory abdominal aortic aneurysms that was treated laparoscopy
2006
A 64-year-old woman with a known history of ischemic heart disease and hypertension presented with dyspnea and lower abdomnial pain. She was diagnosed as suffering with retroperitoneal fibrosis secondary to inflammatory abdominal aortic aneurysm. Aneurysm resection and ureterolysis were necessary for treatment, but she was included in the high risk operation group, so we attempted laparoscopic ureterolysis without aneurysm resection. We report here on this case with the review of the related literature.(Korean J Med 71:S956-S962, 2006)
