Using of dosimetric film for analysis of energy density distribution of a high-current pulsed electron beam

2005
Technique of measurement energy density of high-current electron beam by means of dosimetric field of POR type (5-50 kGy) and standard scanner is presented. Also is shown that relative optical density of the film increases linear to increasing of absorbed dose in the range of absorbed dose 5-120 kGy. Correlation dependence of digital image parameter "light" of irradiated samples of dosimetric film on samples relative optical density is obtained. By means of correlation function, two-dimensional matrix of absorbed dose's values, corresponding with electron beam autograph on dosimetric film is derived. Elaborated technique allows to measure nonuniformity of energy density of pulsed electron beam with spatial definition less than 1 mm during the measurement of absolute values of energy density.
