Elevator car door lock device

PURPOSE: To provide a car door lock device capable of facilitating manufacturing, installing and maintenance by providing a means operated to lock a car door by a following-up means when the following-up means determines that the traveling of an operation device far exceeds a given distance. CONSTITUTION: An elevator door lock device is provided with an elevator having a hoistway and a car door 22, which is moved by a given distance to unlock one of the hoistway and the car door 22 and made movable by a distance over a given distance, an operation device for locking/unlocking one of the hoistway and the car door 22, and a door locking device for locking/unlocking the other. The device is also provided with a following-up means for following the motion of the operation device, and a means operated to lock the car door 22 by the following-up means when the following-up means determines that the traveling of the operation device far exceeds a given distance.
