Application of a Hydraulic Brake Mechanism in the Milling Head with Double Rotary-swivel Axes

The milling head with double rotary-swivel axes is the core of functional parts for five-axis machining center,by which most of or all of processing can be finished at one fixing.The machining error due to workpiece-fixing once again would be avoided.The machining accuracy of milling process is directly influenced by the fixing-positioning accuracy of the milling head with double rotary-swivel axes.A hydro-clamping sleeve brake mechanism using in the milling head with double rotary-swivel axes was introduced.The mechanism has merits of high centering accuracy,big clamping force,high stiffness,size-compactness and admirable reliability.The practical use effect is very good.
