Determination of hexane residue in the extract from the seeds of Hippophae rhamnaides L.by GC

Objective To establish a method for detecting the hexane residue in the extract from the oil of seeds of Hippophae rhamnaides L.Methods The samples were dissolved in DMF,and were tested by the hesdspace GC.Results The linear ranges were 6.004-300.2 μg(r=0.999 9).The average recovery was 96.2%(RSD=3.8%).Conclusion The results show that the method is simple and sensitive,and can be used for the determination of hexane residue in the extract from the oil of seeds of Hippophae rhamnaides L.
