Preparation of mutant of bovine viral diarrhea virus

PURPOSE: To provide a process for the preparation of a temperature-sensitive(ts) mutant of BVD virus. CONSTITUTION: The temperature-sensitive mutant of BVD virus is prepared by treating a BVD virus separated from an infected animal with a chemical mutagenic agent such as nitrous acid.
