The average weight of modular units used in modular construction method of Korea reaches up to 15 to 25 ton due to the unique architectural feature of Korea, where floor heating is used. Due to such massive weight of module units, limits to module unit sizes, transportation methods and concerns for damages to module units are considered as shortcomings. Especially damages to module units during transportation is pointed out as an important issue of construction work that causes delays in construction period and economic loss. Therefore in this paper, we attempt to secure basic data for the development of a unit damage prevention impact reduction anti-vibration system through a unit vibration analysis (vehicle vibration measurement, FFT analysis, understanding vehicle vibration frequency characteristics) due to vehicle operation during unit transportation. The result of the analysis show that generally similar vibration levels are shown regardless of the direction of X, Y and Z axis and affected by the driving speed of the vehicle.
