The invention provides a heat-insulating meal serving trolley which comprises a trolley body, a trolley door, a placing rack, food plates and universal wheels. The lower part of a heat-insulating placement cavity is of a step shape with low middle part and two high ends; circulating holes are formed in the two ends of a middle groove of the heat-insulating placement cavity and are connected with a water circular heating device through a circulating pipe at the lower part of the heat-insulating placement cavity; the middle groove of the heat-insulating placement cavity is communicated with a hot water circulating device through the circulating holes and the circulating pipe; during use, water can be accommodated in the middle groove of the heat-insulating placement cavity; water can be sucked into the hot water circulating device through one circulating hole for heating; the hot water is replenished into the heat-insulating placement cavity by the other circulating hole; heating is realized by adopting a mode of heating circulating water, so the temperature in the whole heat-insulating placement cavity is enabled to be more uniform; and besides, the heating efficiency is improved.
