Advances of Medium Study on Soil-less Turf Production

Based on the reviewing of medium on soil-less turf production,this paper introduced the types of medium,compounds,effects on turf growth,and their advantage and disadvantage respectively.Especially the researches and applications of the nonwoven fabrics,straws,and fly-ash cinders were discussed.The paper proposed that new medium technologies and environmental friendly materials are the potential directions for soil-less turf production and development.
