The applicability of the Stoner-Edwards-Wohlfarth model to Ni3Ga
1973
The magnetic properties at temperatures up to 80 K and in fields up to 350 kOe of a number of paramagnetic Ni3Ga alloys are reported. The results indicate that the magnetization as a function of field can be described very well in the Stoner model with the exception of magnetizations less than 4 emu g-1 at low temperature. The relatively rapid variation of the susceptibilities with temperature suggests a temperature dependence of the effective magnetic interaction.
