Honras fúnebres en Orán por la muerte de Carlos III: un túmulo del ingeniero militar Manuel Zappino

Por otra parte, la escenificacion del poder que estas celebraciones representan no dejaron de ser una util herramienta para consolidar Ia estructura vigente encarnada en la monarquia. De ahi, que se aborde el aparato conmemorativo luctuoso con motivo de las honras funebres del rey Carlos Ill en Oran. Las ceremonias se desarrollaron en la iglesia mayor capitalizadas en un esplendoroso tumulo a ejecutar por el ingeniero militar Manuel Zappino, de cuya forma, simbolismo y aparato liturgico partira el presente trabajo.
