Clinical analysis of the correlation between residual amniotic fluid index after premature rupture of membrane and maternal-fetal outcome

2013
Objective To study the correlation between residual amniotic fluid index(AFI)after premature rupture of membrane(PROM)and maternal-fetal outcome. Methods 92 PROM patients with AFI≤5 were collected as the group A.92 PROM patients with AFI5 were collected as the group B.Maternal-fetal outcomes were compared. Results The incidence of fetal distress,meconium-stained amniotic fluid and intra-amniotic infection in group A were 34.78%,38.04% and 31.52%,which were obviously higher than those in group B,with P0.05.Cesarean section rate of group A was 82.61%,which was significantly higher than group B's 45.65%,with P0.05.There was no significant difference in neonatal birth weight, with P0.05.Apgar score of group A was lower than that of group B,but there was no significant difference, with P0.05.Neonatal morbidity of group A was 36.96%,which was significantly higher than group B's 15.22%,with P0.05.Conclusion Oligohydramnios after PROM can obviously enhance the cesarean section rate, and has serious influence on maternal-fetal outcome.
