TEST GROUP 57 RADIO-CHEMISTRY

Results of plutonium and uranium analyses of samples taken in the field from the Nevada Test Site during Operation Plumbbob are given. The chemistry of uranium and plutonium, methods used, procedures involved, counting statistics, and information pertinent to this aspect of the Test Group 57 effort are discussed. (auth)
