Influence of Technological Gap on Technological Spillovers from Coal Enterprises’ Intra-region Direct Investment in Six Western Provinces

With the coal industry data of six Western coal bonanza provinces from 1998 to 2006,the paper computes the contribution of the technological gap to Coal Enterprises Intra-region technological Spillovers by use of a consistent Malmquist Productivity index based on nonparametric approach after grouping by technological gap.The result shows that big technological gap group obtain more technological efficiency change and small technological gap group obtain more technological change.
