The method (300) for controlling a plurality of valves, said method (300) comprises: A. coupling a master valve (122) and a set of slave valves (122 (1) -122 (N)) via a digital network (160); B. receiving (310) a pressure setpoint (202) or pressure set representing a desired pressure and a feedback pressure value (204) representing an actual pressure, through the master valve (122); C. positioning (320) a master valve gate (122C) of the master valve (122) as a function of the pressure setpoint (202) or pressure set and the pressure feedback value (204); represents D. generating (330) a position setting value, the relative position of the master valve gate (122C) within a range of master valve actuator positions; E. broadcasting or broadcasting (340) of the position adjustment value to the set of slave valves (122 (1) -122 (N)) via the digital network (160); and F. receiving (350) of the position setting value, and positioning a slide (122 (1) C-122 (N) C) of each slave valve in the set of slave valves (122 (1) -122 (N)) in or at a position corresponding to the relative position of the master valve spool (122C).
